  1. I have some of those. They work great!!
  2. The pink/purple looks like GSP and the "things" look like majano. It all depends on how hardcore you are. I've put stuff like this in my tank before and had no problems. Just threw in a couple of peppermint shrimp. That's not advice, it's just what I have done before.
  3. $50 high tech lens by the makes of clip on sunglasses!! Haha. It doesn't help colors. It's still just an iPhone. But for quick pics it does great.
  4. This is one of the other lenses. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I thought these came out pretty cool.
  6. Maybe it really is a herbivore thing. I was just messing around when I said it before. That's funny.
  7. I'd like to get at least a couple of TDS Meters for my RODI system. One before, one before the resin, and one at the end. I see that some of the meters have 3 sensors, but they cost about the same as 3 individuals. Is there a certain brand anyone has had good luck with?
  8. Must be a herbivore thing. She looks for BFFs until someone doesn't chase her off.
  9. I had a super aggressive Hawfish that chased him. In the end it was my fault. All of the other fish in my tank were peaceful and the Hawkfish had his way with everyone in the tank. None of the other fish pushed back so it just intensified his aggression. He was a mean dude among wuss fish. I gave the Hawkfish to another WAMAS member for an aggressive tank he has been peaceful ever since. The coolest thing was watching the Hawkfish try to attack the Foxface. As you know Foxfaces have venomous spines. When the Hawkfish would dart at the Foxface, she would align her spines with the Hawkfish. Needless to say the Hawkfish would slow down very quickly and go back to minding his own business. Nature in action. Pretty cool.
  10. Thanks WAMAS for the wrasse suggestions. Got a Blue Star Leopard to finish up my wrasses for now. I've read they are tricky to acclimate, but this girl has been the exception. In Quantum she was looking very happy and hunting for pods. When I eventually put her in my display she immediately started looking for pods, so I put in some mytis which she took and went right back to hunting. It's only been a couple of days in the display, but from what I have heard, getting them to eat and be comfortable is the hard part. She seems to be pretty comfortable. She doesn't pay attention to any of the other fish. Basically a loner. The coolest part was seeing the McCoskers wrasse check her out for the first time and flash like crazy. Two good looking fish. https://vimeo.com/123549145
  11. Very very nice man!! I liked the comic style story line!
  12. My Foxface is severely co-dependent. Previously he paired up with a Snowflake clown until the clown was murdered by another fish. Now he has paired up with my new Vermiculate Leopard Wrasse. The wrasse doesn't appear to care at all about the foxface, but Foxy follows the leopard around and brushes up against her all the time. Very strange couple. Needy fish I guess. https://vimeo.com/123503697 Anyone else have a weird/interesting couple like that?
  13. Who knew that Assessors swim upside down? They are cool as heck! It's like they don't know what is up!! Very cool.
  14. That pic looks like the Linespot Flasher, but I am no expert.
  15. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? They look to have the same connector and Apex stuff is easier to find. BRS sells a generic probe and in the comments it looks like the probe fits both the Apex and the RKE. With that information I would assume the two are interchangeable. Can anyone confirm that is the case? Ben
