  1. Fixed it that's the middle link of the three. Got it out filled and covered before the thankfully.
  2. Stand modded for a sump going to add 2x4 bracing to replace wall partition I removed. http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a598/holedup82/75%20Gallon%20Conversion/null_zps38a68839.jpg
  3. Okay so after meeting a bunch of members at FF I have decided to completely break down my 75 gallon FOWLR and start over to go Mixed Reef. The main reasoning is that my 29gal MR setup is too small and I won't break it down since its the GF's fave tank however me being me it's not big enough. WARNING: Hideous 60's wallpaper and carpet present. Everybody out of 75 gal, most rock removed and in holding containers down stairs http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a598/holedup82/75%20Gallon%20Conversion/null_zps982a73ac.jpg Tank Moved and being cleaned http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a598/holedup82/75%20Gallon%20Conversion/null_zps7a9e251c.jpg
  4. I have to pick just one thing? Hmmm I'd say I would have bought a different stand ( no room for a sump)
  5. Buyer beware on this idea! When I purchased mine I had no clue what I was doing and a certain website had advertised a 75gpd unit. when it arrived it was a great 3 chamber set up minus a certain vital part the RO membrane. Luckily people on the forums were beyond helpful I was able to buy the extra parts needed with not too much extra cost. But it did suck paying for shipping twice.
  6. When they are avail I'd love the koralias, and aqua c hob skimmer if they guy that buys the rock doesn't want the orange spot ill take him
  7. I know the raffle tickets can be earned by supporting sponsors what about a similar concept some way to earn the frags? Doesn't have to be a monetary purchase but for those who lend a hand by setting up breaking down, bringing water, bringing food, and by supporting sponsors. I'm Just playing skeeball and thought of ticket redemptions as a kid.
  8. So having won a 20g long at QRs store opening, I was going to use it for a QT Tank. Decided to keep my two 10g QTs running and flip the 20 to a frag tank due to fragfest today. I really was expecting to bring home less than I did (lesson learned). Ignore the hideous wallpaper
  9. +1 to all of the above comments, great time and many thank to all the officers and vendors
  10. I can't show my gf this we have an 8y/o girl and a 5month old boxer mix girl
  11. I just moved some fish back to my 75... I have a pair of davinci clowns, pink spot watchmachman pistol shrimp pair a black and gold Chromis, green mandarin and a Christmas wrasse. I've been trying to catch the wrasse and get him into the 75 which is fowlr. He hasn't nibbled on anything but better safe than sorry. I'd like to get the mandarin in the 75 once the pods are built up enough again. Lights are off but ill take pics tomorrow
  12. Added some zoas, birdsnest, rics, chalice, shrooms, brain, and palys finally got the gf to go "ooooo pretty"
  13. Great! Sounds like it's all good I live just outside of DC and my pressure is constantly around 55psi unless someone's taking a shower or washing a dog upstairs. So unless yours drops below 50 I wouldn't worry to much
  14. No problem I had a bad RODI purchase experience and would hate to see anyone else deal with the same. I would suggest getting the filter wrenches they sell at BRS or HD to get the canisters off
  15. There should be a membrane...otherwise no RO happens It's in there! Mines not BRS but I had to DIY portions of mine (long story, wish I had gone BRS). It is a separate piece inside the white canister I'm pointing to in the picture
  16. Last week they didn't have much probably waiting on a shipment but their invert tanks were bland to say the least
  17. I played a ton of online poker holed is for hole cards 82 is the birth year
  18. I was there a little over a week ago. The fish stock was ok, the coral selection and state was still on the very poor side. I visited them when they first opened and even though they had no fish their coral selection was awesome picked up a nice crocea clam at that time. Have been disappointed since that first trip unfortunately. They didn't look like they were remodeling anything at least visibly.
