Build looks killer! I think it's a bta..post a pic under whites LTAs have a unique spotted pattern either under the tentacles on the base or on the oral disc I can't remember which but I'd know if I saw it. I bought a $6 lta at petco when I first started it was labeled as a condy and sure as heck looked like one until I researched.

How much do you worry about levels during cycle?

I got that for Christmas once and promptly returned it! But in all seriousness let the cycle happen, it will eventually. The first time I cycled my 75 it took what seemed to be forever. -

The RC threads helped me build my current unit, and I've definitely seen that video on BRS. I'm a huge fan of BRS videos while I'm stuck at my desk instead of out teaching

I live right up the street. Steve is a good guy his personality can easily be taken the wrong way. From my experience, He never sold me a fish or coral that was inappropriate for my tanks. Knowledge wise, price wise great place. My +1 was to finding better pricing in moco

My pressure is right at 50 psi as long as the gf isn't taking a shower. I had to build my unit basically from scratch( long story). I'm curious at the pressure loss after each stage now.

I heard 150gpd units give off less waste. I honestly have never measured the waste to pure ratio on my unit.

I have a 75gpd and let the waste go down the drain, if you are able I know a ton of people save it to use for watering the lawn. I tried the whole using it for laundry thing but didn't a really plumb the waste line to the washer. I just put the line in the tub and flipped it on when full. Unfortunately it drained what I filled and re-filled anyways.

Planning on drilling. When I was looking at stands (I'm not the best carpenter) this one actually had another particle board partition basically where the middle back piece ends. Wanted to recreate the stability without having a full wall.
