  1. Just followed the directions. 1 scoop per 10 gallons. It is truly amazing what it did in 48 hours.
  2. Rehype recommended to use it, and he used it on a fully stocked tank. His most recent FTS. I think chemi clean is safe for a stocked tank.
  3. Have some stuff from ERC coming at of the end of the week. Can't wait! On the cyano : I wasn't running the wp10, I had 4 fish and no clean up crew, and I was busy with a lot of travel from before thanksgiving till last week, so maintenance was practically 0 Good luck to everyone in the storm!
  4. So chemi clean is amazing. Here is what 48 hours did Before After
  5. Sump So NanoBox finally publicly posted about his new light, so now I can say this will be the light over this tank:
  6. What kind of camera do you have again? I always feel hesitant to buy a macro lens. Drop $950 on a good macro, or buy a lens I will use almost weekly? I like renting a macro lens a few times a year. But if you plan to use it to take pictures of the tank a lot, go for it.
  7. There is live mud in the cube. And since the roots are restricted inside the cube, they will eventually start being forced upwards. I have started a separate grow of one mangrove plant that I will be regularly trimming/shaping, in hopes to eventually replace the mangroves in the tank. I am aiming for a nice canopy with a great root system
  8. Thanks, here is a link http://ilthy.bigcartel.com/category/art-prints
  9. Yea, I still haven't gone back yet to patch up the missing spots around the inner cube. The mangroves are recovering. I didn't buy a timer when I was out of town for 2 weeks, so they weren't getting proper lighting.
  10. Took a few quick snaps. Looking forward to the weekend when I can get some natural light snaps. We are supposed to get the "storm of the decade" tonight and into tomorrow. But I don't buy into Californian weather hype. They already closed all the schools in San Francisco. Have to paint the stand cover still
  11. Thanks! Now fish...a fuzzy dwarf lion, or a bunch of gobies?
  12. Little bit better pics. Haven't made the adjustments yet
  13. Just starting to clear up now I was just spraying super glue everywhere and throwing rocks and sand at it. Later tonight or tomorrow once the water is fully clear, I'm gonna epoxy some rocks to fill spots in
  14. Kinda like that rock on the right I did in the planted tank. But scattered throughout the slope
  15. Thought that was gonna look a little too unnatural. I'm gonna stuff rocks into the hillside
  16. Yup, planning rocks built into th slope. I want to do like 20 feather dusters in here. And tube anemones Filled to the top
  17. No, I was going to. We will see if it holds once water is in Were you thinking a flat sand bed? I'm still going back and forth
  18. Nice! Here is a great tank you could use for inspiration. He went through many lighting combos http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1908402
  19. Haha. Camera has wifi with an app to download pics to the phone. Few more
