Mame is great, it is silent. I have also never cleaned it, and it still looks pretty good. I've ditched the LPS islands, gonna glue them low on the rock. I am getting a nice large Pink Tip Elegance from Richard that will be the only thing on the sand.

Took some real pics. Do some natural light ones tomorrow. The light is just set on every puck set the same intensity. No t5's. Dave included 6700k bulbs and the tank looks very similar to these pics with t5's on.

This is my finished light. Except it didn't come out as true navy blue, so it is being repainted. The wait continues Did some spring cleaning. Nothing else in the tank has changed. I've been waiting on this hybrid light before really adding coral to this tank.

Richard doesn't usually get the basic fish. Lol thanks The fish were definitely diseased. They had red spots on them Haven't gotten around to the rain ato, yet. Lol no haircuts. Not sure what is next. Probably some ric's or rock nem's from richard. My work messed up the last delivery of rock nem's from richard.

Spring cleaning. Cleaned the filter for the first time and added new chemipure blue

yesterday Tank is so gross. The mangroves love it

All these mangroves have been in the tank since the start. But they took a while to recover. I would say they've all been healthy for maybe 3-4 weeks now. Thanks! dirty water and good light = mangrove success Correct, these are just lily pipes to a canister. I am going to order a few extra cheap sets on ebay so i can have a clean rotation going.

How did those ones I gave you end up doing again? I know they weren't in the best shape since they went through some serious neglect before giving them to you. As long as you keep the mangroves salt free and have decent light, they will take off. The combo of this 70w halide and no clean up crew/dirty water are making mine grow like crazy. Lighting is key

Nice. I need to start pruning mine. Staring to grow too high. This weekend I am gonna look into creating a rain ato that will also clean the salt off the mangroves.
