Tank was moved on Sunday. I ended up putting it catty-corner. I have now moved the MAME to the back left corner and finally put the mp10's in. Moving the plumbing around a little actually made the sump area a little cleaner looking. Going to start moving corals this weekend. I think I have stuff coming from ERC end of this week or sometime next week too

The wood wall was going to go on the wall with the sliding door, which is the high ceiling side. Tank is going on that wall too, decided not to block a window.

We think the wood wall make the room feel smaller. It is about the same size as our current living room, but not an open concept. It does have 2 large windows and a sliding door, so it allows a good amount of light in, but idk Also has like 20 foot ceilings.

All plans thrown out the window. Decided against doing another wood wall. Might make a new stand for the 18" cube and sump it. Who knows. We will see this weekend.

Are you hiring movers or doing it all yourself? Luckily we have movers coming Saturday to pack, move, and unpack. But still sucks having to put everything away and worry about them breaking things

Tank move is going down on Thursday. We will be getting the keys around 5:30, once that is complete, I will start the new wood wall. Once I have enough done, the tank will be moving in. I hope to have this tank back up 100% on Thursday by 11pm. Corals will start being added next weekend.

We went to Tahoe this weekend to avoid packing... Get the keys on the 24th, movers coming the 25th.

There have been quite a few that have broken. They've tried fixing it by taking out the rounded edges on some of the new models. I would avoid a rounded corner model.

Have you looked at the pico aquariums 20g? It is a little smaller than the biocube and nuvo, but the build quality will be top notch. He also does custom tanks http://www.picoaquariums.com/pico-20g-/76-pico-20g.html

I just do a 15 gallon water change each week and clean the glass, other than that, I don't touch the tank.

I think technically this is a move down, even though it is a town house haha. Going to miss being on the water and the open floor plan. Wall will be coming down, the landlord said I could keep it up, but I rather take it down. We are going tomorrow to the house to talk over everything with the owner, scope out where the tank is gonna go, etc. I've never seen such a crazy rental market : packed open houses, offering the full year in advanced cash (they didn't care), offering above asking price, pet references, pet visit approvals, etc.

Thanks. Luckily it is only like a mile away from our current place, so the move should be pretty easy. Excited to have a little back yard for our dogs; biggest reason why we wanted to move.

Even the rental market out here is insane, and we won a war on a town house. We will be moving, just after I got this new one perfectly set up
