  1. I started tossing them today too.
  2. As a suggestion, I would stay away from the 50 pounds of live rock from LFS, if you start with all dry rock you dont need to worry about any pest or hitch hikers, it just takes a little longer but its worth it in my opinion, just my .02 cents. You are off to a great start. Keep it up.
  3. Not that I know of, it was doing fine. When I notice it was early morning when zoas are close, i saw the starfish on it but didnt think much of it so I went to work, when I got back zoas was a goner. I have a frag of zoas that have been close for like a week (i think i will lose them) but I have never see stars on top of those.
  4. Origami, thanks for the article over at garf.org, great read. I think I have the fatter with grey and shorter legs ones, I will be pulling them out of my tank today. Thanks everyone for your help and replies.
  5. Will a harlequin shrimp be ok with a cleaner shrimp already in my tank?
  6. That could be what they are doing, not good. I think I will start removing some of them specially if I see another one on top of a zoa.
  7. Like the title says. The past 3 days I have seen these starfish on top of close or new small zoa polyps, at first I didn't think much of it but now those zoas are gone, vanish. I now take them off when I see them but im starting to think if I should remove them from my tank. Does anyone know for sure if they eat zoas? I went online and I found contradicting opinions but I would much trust someone with experience here in WAMAS.
  8. Love the chocolate tang, i think that will be my next addition. Your tank looks great and i like you fish selection. Can you take a closer pic of the chocolate tang if you get a chance?

  18. I hope its just that and that it will come back, I wont do or change anything in the tank since this is the only coral doing this. Thanks for the reply guys.

  20. Hi everyone. My hammer coral is not doing good and its been like this for the past week. Its the only one in the tank that is like this, everything else (mostly LPS) is doing fine. It started when I stared using Zeovit amino acids concentrate. Here is a pic All parameters are good and so its the temperature. Any ideas what it could be?
