Sounds interesting. i know the previous versions had leak problems when ran externally. from your description it sounds like you will be running two pumps externally which to me seems like a really cool idea. you can maybe have one of those tanks be a fuge/refugium. 2 pumps and a skimmer pump to run multiple tanks sounds like a winner to me, but how will it look?

i would have stuck with fresh water.

i have one of those mats made to be used for water maintenance under the stand. it did soak up a lot of water during a water change gone wrong, but is hard to keep clean and i cant vacuum it like a carpet. have to use a small broom to clean it which is a pain. i will still put it under my stand after my move.

think you are right. so i have three of those suckers in my system and no way of getting them out. boo for hitch hikers. ----------------------------------------- moving---- sucks but it has to be done. across the street from the beach which hopefully means cooler temperature. all my shrimps died - temp reached 89 and ac still not installed due to move. added a bunch more zoas. zoas are alright, but all look kind of the same after a while. upcoming changes to the tank within the next two months: 1 yellow tang (4 in) 1 rhomboidalis wrasse (3 in) 3 ugly pajama cardinals (2 in, need to add some ugly to the tank) adding live sand -- tried bare bottom and zoas not liking the flow to keep the bottom clean. prob works better for sps tanks. apex jr jebao dc 6000 clip on sump fan more rocks still debating: flame wrasse - not sure how it will get along with the rhomboidalis copperband butterfly - not sure if i need it. sure the aiptasia is fighting for space with the zoas, but who cares - its only zoas. aiptasias also ****** any uneaten food from the water which is pretty cool to watch.

you be surprised at how many types of electronics amazon would not ship to afghanistan even if the address is a apo address. most of the time people have to have their friends or family members purchase it from the states and ship it to afghanistan. although they do sell ps3s and tvs in the px in afghanistan, it cost a lot more there than if you bought it in any store in the states and those items usually sell out pretty quick and if you are at a remote location, chances are pretty slim you would be able to get one.

no ac in the house really sucks. purchased a ac unit, but may take some time before the guys will install it. windows are like screens so even if i have ac, most of the cool air will likely just go out the window. ill look into mr cool king fans. wish they made a cheap solar powered fan since i have a plenty of sun to power the fan.
