  2. I use 20 gallon High tanks. Also did see quantum ordered some 20 gallon Extra high tanks that looked good on space. Really the easiest way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I am really low in both honestly and this may be the little extra I need. Figured could not hurt just want to transition slowly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. i have been using the aqua max biopellets for a few years now and trying to decide to mix them in or run both but in separate reactor for a while. I have a second reactor already setup just have not been using it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I just ordered some today and will start to add them to my current Biopellets and will keep you posted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I would recommend getting yourself on the par meeter List. That way you can test but keep in mind with LED lights its harder to get accurate reading because of the way they work. For example when you test in 1 spot 1" over may show up differently. That being said you get a good idea of the lighting your tank receive if you take several reading at that level. Then decide what coral you want then placement of that coral then you can figure out what you need to set it at. Sounds complicated but its not. As to the first question of how long to be honest the Blue does not really matter. I leave it on for viewing about 1-2 hours before and after whites go off. Whites I would do no more than 5 hours of light as most corals zooxanthelae can only absorb and convert so much light. After that it can be counter productive as it overworks the coral. Others may disagree but that is how I have mine setup. Hope that helps. All of the frags you listed need low light so they should be placed near the sand bed.
  7. Have mine going Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Waveline pumps are great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Depending on the size tank I may start with the Cole Tang? It can aid with clean up of algae.

  15. Oh Boy..... Dam you Neptune!
  16. +1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Agreed. After thinking about it for a bit I decided to give the WXM a shot again since I already had it and it was still set up. Setup was a snap and it's working perfectly. Only time will tell but I now can control my pumps when I feed. Also will program in a nice photo mode for when the mood strikes lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Sadly I did that update. Actually took the time last night to setup the WXM and so far so good. Just need to know how to program the AFS when triggered to turn down the My Vortech's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ok so I have used both the Reeflink and WXM before but I moved to the Reeflink because of ease of use. The problem is the "Ease" is not very easy because you have to reset it almost each day. I have done all the updates, on all the devices, and followed every instruction that Ecotech has given. When it works its amazing but really an issue as it never works when you want it without unplugging and plugging back. That being said I have the WXM and used it on my vortech's and it worked great. Was harder to setup but now with Fusion it looks a lot easier. I also did not have the Radion G3's then but do now. How hard is it to setup the lights on Fusion? How is the reliability for WXM? Was rooting for the Reeflink but it gets old fast..... Any thought would be great.
  20. I think I have all those plates but those Scolly's! Amazing Issac grab that Vertex Skimmer for me while your their. I will "pay you back"
  21. I have had them on and off and what I have found the more your tank matures the less impact they have. They really don't bother anything except for Zoa's (or seahorses if you do those) but my Zoa's have gotten over them. Really no cure from what I have seen in a reef tank.
  22. Yeah I am looking for the Bulkheads and this will be done on my frag tank! Love it What about your light Cycle? 24 hours or opposite of the tank?
  23. Hmm. Really makes me think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. do nothing! They are a great sign and the start of your tank progressing. Pods are the lifeblood of the tank if you ask me and the more you have the better. Eventually when you have preditors that will make them harder to see around. I would maybe put a stack of rock rubble in the tank (back out of sight) and they will inhabit that and grow out like crazy.
