  1. I hope FTS means full tank shot. These fishes can eat. Not sure how you only fed twice a week your tang. Mine rushes for the feed tube every time. I feed twice a day and she still likes to nip at the macro algae.. We are planning on getting a much larger aquarium. 60x24x20 or so. Most likely we are going with Miracles. Just trying to get a final quote from Great Lakes Aquarium. If all goes well we should have one before the spring.
  2. Ryan not sure if this exists, but i have been looking for a usb-b mini transmitter. 5. I am looking to purchase this overflow for what will be a tank build in the future. Anyone know where I can find this in the US. Or maybe one of our vendors can get their hands on it? http://reefbuilders.com/2011/12/20/oceanlife-overflow/
  6. Thank you Air, Water & Ice on the RODI donation. Looks like Christmas came early this year! My wife and I won the Extreme 5 Stage RODI. Looking forward to setting it up!
  7. Totally agree with this. I just met the duo this week and picked up some nice equipment. They had to special order it and in no time they had it ready for me.
  8. Just my 2 cents I imagine the way Ecotech is able to achieve this is by dividing the LED circles with an inner circle and outer circle. The outer circle will stay the same keeping the spread as before. The inner circle has the LED's now facing more towards the center creating the inner cone. Higher intensity as more light is reflected towards the center.
  9. any idea if this will come standard in the new radions coming out?
  10. Our clown Sunny loves to bite my hand when ever i start to move things around. luckily I would say if i have my ring on he will attack the ring and spare my skin. He almost jumped out of the water chasing my hand leaving the tank!
  11. Ok, even if he is gone, should I be able to see his body floating somewhere? He was pretty small when we bougth it, about 2 weeks ago. Though they are small fishes, i think that he is/was still supposed to grow. Can my trumpet coral eat him? he liked to hang on top of it.
  12. We don't have a sump now! :( Otherwise I would look there the first thing! Thanks for advise though!
  13. So this morning I went to feed the fish and my clown gobie is missing. Tiny little tomato is lost or possibly .... I have been looking all over the tank. Checked the surrounding floor area. Maybe the trumpet coral got it not sure. But I fed the trumpet frogspawn and fungia last night. Any Ideas? The other fish are clowns, watchman w/ pistol. Damsel and 6 line. Maybe he went down the watchman hole?

  19. That is a great idea! I was in the Caymans earlier this spring and there was an article about the lionfish now in the caribbean. The local beers on the island were donating a small amount to some organization get rid of these so call pests from the waters. I bet some of the local governments would offer some incentive if there was a supplier with the goal in mind to capture these fish.
  20. Tried to PM you, but your inbox is full
  21. I wanted to get a list of people with Algae problems in the tank. We have a very hardworking sea hare that want to clean your tank!

  23. Amazing tank. I would love to see it one day in person!
  24. Yeas, I shouldn't have done it, now I'm blaming myself. I just got so scared that it did happen within 2-3 hours, and thought it could spread. Didn't expect the sea hare to act like that at all.
