got a nice long ten anem about 2 weeks ago been going GREAT my seabay clown started hosting ..today I come home to find it all baled up and looks like his footh as that DREDDED white stuff comming out in 2 small spots any way i can save it? i scooped it out of the main tank and put in in a basket in my sump with good water flow ??any idesa why it did this can the clown be too agressive with it??MY $%&^*&(%^ file fish has been pecking at the tips of it GRRRRR madning as all being he WONT eat the anems he is SUPPOSED to

ok havent had lps before a month or so ago look at tank this morning and my hammer has an extra LONG tenical is this normal?

Had to LOL ok got a cleaner wrasse today I havent had one in YEARS ....saw this guy and just couldnt resist.OK the sec I put him in the tank this LITTLE 2" fish SCARED the bagessssiss out of EVERY fish in the tank with his FAST up down zig zag wrasse thing.The biggest baby of all was the 10"unicorn tang .I am SO amazed at how strong instinct is in the animal life. after the scare wore off fish that I know have NEVER seen a cleaner wrasse where LINED up for cleaning even the tank raised clowns . Just thought id share

i tried egg crate also but the plants outgrew the holes and cut . Hear is what i came up with. you can get a pond plant pot should be able to get from and store mine came from lows you should be able to get smaller and filled with old bio balls haey the pot top just out of water attach to eather a tank brace or 1/2 IN pipe with 2 90" culpings make sure the back pipe is long enough to support the pot Excuse the poor atempt at graffic art never was good at etcha scetch lol l If nothing else you could buy some small freshwater plants and use the small containers and use small bioballs.For bigger plants with big root system cut the bottom of container feed from top of plant down the bioballs float they ASLO hold pods as well as the roots so your horses will have food and hanging space

well what i have found out so far is that it improves water quality by helping remove waste i was also told if not used properly could kill everything ..i have a 265 with fish anem and few lps

my sump for the most part is bare bottom just for this reason a quick vacume every other day at the most 1 gallon and all gone I have found that it is so easy and my tank looks alot cleaner since i started the bare bottom sump
