    I never had a problem dosing this way but now I just use it to maintain temp. It's worth it just for that function.

    i've been using regular instant ocean salt since the beginning. i don't see myself changing to anything else.

    I started playing with different lighting (t5, mh, combo) and I still like LEDs best. I like the look of the cheap Chinese led units. Just my personal opinion.

    I still pay the 5 cents per bag. What they need to do is charge $5 per plastic bag and than no will will use them.

    I've been talking to some people on this subject. Why do we have to have 0 tds? Have you seen your mixing bucket lately? What happens to 0 ppm rodi water when it hits that bucket than add salt? Will >50ppm make that much of a difference when going into your tank? I can't remember the last time I changed my filters. I know for a fact I've never changed my membranes.

    Alan, I have a whole bottle of the SA pellets I don't use. You're welcome to have it. My fish don't like the small pellets.

    I personally like the ocean nutrition pellets but also use nls as well.
