anemones arrive tomorrow! being that the light wont be in until monday, they will be put in my 40B for the time being.

how about a surface skimmer? the water flows over an overflow and get sucked up by a filter, like an AC20.

do you really need a skimmer in that size tank? weekly water changes should be more then enough.

the guy said the color temp would be like 18-20K. hopefully its not too blue.

yeah im hoping it will be able to handle 3-4 leds, i really dont want to get a fan. and its actually a cpu fan that i got from an old computer at work.

thanks! the nems should be here Thursday evap will be dealt with manually for now, until i come up with a way to make an ATO small enough for the tank. but there is a lid on the tank so evap isnt terrible. ive got a diy led kit on the way. and heatsink i got from work. heatsink

thats right! .91 gallons! this tank will be packed with maxi mini anemones and will have about 5-6 sexy shrimp. ive already bought a light upgrade, a 6 3watt led kit. i dont plan on using all 6 leds, but thats the smallest kit they had.

i did a big water change today. i also filled the sump to proper level, so the skimmer will work now. i fixed(reprogrammed) the ATO as well, so now thats working, before it would turn on like normal, but it wouldnt shut off, dumping 5 gallons of r/o in my tank
