try moving the sps coral if possible. if he goes after some thing else, hes got to go. which he most likely will.

i would give it a freshwater dip (unplugged of course) to remove all the salt, then let dry out for couple of days in rice.

some updates. mostly bad. all 4 heads of torch i got from carla melted. still have no idea why. everything else is doing great. i got a pair of firefish and a coral beauty, they appeared to be healthy at the store but when i got home they all showed signs of ich. one of the firefish died monday, the other firefish and coral beauty look great now and are eating and swimming in the open. on a better note, i bought a used BRS dual reactor on NR, itll be here tomorrow, it should help the tank out a bit.

i just banished my emerald crab to the sump, he was eating my torch. i dont blame him, theres really not that much algae in the tank now.

GOOD NEWS! the sunpod(that "broke") was actually not broke! it works and is over my tank now. also i put an egg cover on my tank.

so my dads tearing down his tank, so hes splitting up the livestock between me and my brother. my brother is going to get most of the stuff. but im gonna get a firefish, maybe 2 damsels, a large monti piece, a maxi mini(on a large rock), a bunch of different zoas, about 7-10 pounds of tonga rock. and some other stuff. the rocks im getting look great and should fit nicely in my tank all the rest of the stuff will be going to my brothers 45 cube he bought on sunday.

i was looking into the radion but i didnt know it one would be good enough for a 40b. because i dont want to spend freakin almost 1900 dollars on 2 LOL

well being that i only paid 40 bucks for the sunpod im not too bummed i broke it. ive been looking into the AI sol units. theyre a bit pricey, but being that i have zero other expenses to pay, i can save up pretty easily.

this is why i want to go led. all the good things of MH without the heat

also this is my current lighting setup, a 400watt MH sitting on top of a 20 long tank. looks safe ay?

so what light fixture would you recommend? i was thinking if i went T5, i would either get teklight elite, or and ATI. any thoughts on MH/T5 combo brand?

any reason you say not to do led? the light was a sunpod 2x 150 watt MH, the ballast are in side the fixture. i dryed everything, made sure there was no salt left on the fixture, let it sit in the sun for an afternoon. i plugged it in last night and sparks went flying, flipped the breaker.

ok, so it looks like the light is fubr. soooo im gonna try to convince my dad to give me a loan for a new light. i was thinking going led. any thoughts?
