  1. Thanks Eric, I may take you up on that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So, major leak on tank. Initiating fire sale. For clarification, location of leak is unknown but substantial. Will post pics and prices very shortly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Anyone looking to buy an entire setup? If so, let's talk....
  4. I really like my Digital Aquatics ReefKeeper Elite. Won't ever change.
  5. I look at all these tanks and think of so many things that I want to change about mine.... Then I look at mine and see the problems in the other ones...... Nobody has a perfect tank, but the thing is we are all striving for perfection, or at least balance. I'll work towards your tanks, you work towards hers, he'll copy mine, we'll all copy that other person, and hopefully at the end of the day we will find something that will keep our minds occupied, our wallets full, and our creativity alive. Keep up the pics and the dispersion of ideas!!!
  6. +1 on this. I used to stop by there 2x a week (thursdays and fridays) and even tried to give him business in the high priced frozen food market segment. I stopped going when he repeatedly told me that he had something on order for me and it never showed up. His lack of attention to his client base, coupled with the fact that he doesn't know a good customer when he sees one has certainly led to his demise. I honestly can't really say that I'm sorry except to ensure that we have a competitive marketplace.
  7. I am more than happy to help on the woodbridge side. I live right down the road from Steve
  8. Power off the all aspects of the unit i.e. head unit, all pc4s, Net module, whatever you have. Power off for at least a full minute and then power on the first PC4 that the head unit is plugged into. Then power on each PC4 down the line, you may have a bad module somewhere and this will help you find it.
  9. Maybe I can guarantee the storm by buying all of the available colonies and frags on WAMAS! Then I can bring the World to its knees and rule as the Ice King!!!
  10. I am really leaning to a beckett injector system as I have had good luck with them in the past
  11. To be fair, the "fish room" is also the "laundry room" as well as the "storage room". It's more like the fish "corner".
  12. An ETSS 1000 or 1400 with an Iwaki 100RLT! Oh! I also want a Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time!
  13. Actually I've been looking at the ETSS 1000 and 1400. They look realllly nice but also really pricey. If I bought one I'm pretty sure the basement couch would be my new bedroom until my kids go to college in about 12 years or so....... Then I could have their room!
  14. @Tom and Monkiboy: Thanks for answering. I have a nagging feeling that I am underskimming. Corals are growing like crazy but I'm getting a good bit of algae growth if I get lazy on water changes. When I increase my bioload I think the problem will continue to compound itself if I don't do an upgrade to my equipment
  15. Right now my total system volume is 375+/- and I'm running an AquaEuro USA internal skimmer. To actually fit in my sump, I can only run 2 out of 3 needlewheel pumps and I am injecting ozone (88-92mg). My bioload is relatively small as my display is a 250DD and I only have about 20-24 inches of fish. Basically three medium tangs and a spattering of anthias, peppermint shrimp, and a coral beauty. Corals are placed wherever there is open space and there isn't much left. Frag tank is currently empty with the exception of a few corals.
  16. Started in 2004. 55g to a 125g to 240g to 150g(275g total volume) to a 250g(375g total volume). 750DDD here I come!!!
  17. Hello all; I'm thinking about upgrading my skimmer in the near future and was wondering what everyone was running on their tanks and systems that are 350+ gallons. If you are running multiple skimmers on a system, I would ask that you refrain from posting as I am only concerned with single skimmer setups. Specs that would helpful if included in post are: 1-Size of tank/system. 2- Bioload guesstimate. 3- Running ozone? 4- Type of skimmer and pump(s). 5- Internal or External skimmer. Thanks in advance! I'm looking forward to hearing about what everyone has! Braden
  18. +1 on the check valves and the drains. one d*mn snail could really ruin your day for both tanks.
  19. Just a question, but why not have a separate feed pump and drain system for the "X" tank? In my setup I basically have two totally separate tanks utilizing the same sump. In the setup you've created in the second pic, you would be bleeding off gph from your display tank which could adversely affect your DT i.e. flow/head pressure. Now I personally haven't seen your tank so I'm not sure what physical constraints you have, but that's my two cents. Looking forward to how it turns out!
  20. I came up with a crazy idea that should provide me with some more space for upwards of 6-8 additional colonies. Hope to have pics up soon!
  21. I don't know where you are, but if you are close to Woodbridge, I have some for you. Send me a PM
