Like Zygote2k say's even natural reefs have nuisance algae, their are just enough critters to clean it up. That's actually part of the problem with over fishing, removing to many of the herbivores.

Make a trap from a soda or water bottle. Cut the end off the bottle and invert it, cut the hole in the end big enough for the fish to fit thru, Cut a small hole in the back of the bottle to squirt food in and within 5 mins you should have it caught.

Switch your Actinics for ATI Blue + and the 10K for ATI Blue Special.

I feel your pain. I was adding some frags to my scape and accidentally hit my tower and one side came tumbling done. This was last friday evening. Friday night @ 11.30 I finally give up and go to bed. Only slept a little, Sat. morning I get up @ 6 am and within a 1/2 hour have it close to what it was. Sat afternoon after a little tweaking I'm finally happy with it again. Your corals will color back up, I have found when you mess with them, they will lose some color till their happy again.
