  1. I have 2nd generation ORA Black Clowns available for sale. PM if interested and i can bring them to the meeting. -Anthony
  2. NO ONE! oh man!
  3. Hey Everyone, I went on my honeymoon this past week and when i returned both of my live cultures of roti's had died on me, even the batch i left in the fridge to slow them down. Does anyone in the Tysons area have a starter culture that i could pick up? I have another batch of clowns that will be hatching tonight and i need something for them to eat tomorrow. Let me know ASAP. thanks -Anthony
  4. Hey Everyone, Does anyone know where i can by live Roti's and greenwater? I think the clowns are going to hatch tonight as they did not last night. Will they only eat live food?? I have coral frenzy which contains everything down to phyto, anyone try this?? Any help would be great. Thanks!! -Anthony
  5. I dont touch anything unless i accidently break something off while scraping the glass or doing a water change and just place the frag in in antoher part of the tank to see if it grows differently; which they definitly do color, growth, etc.. Not really, some kill others, but the not completely and just merge together, so no total kill off of one or the other. Yeah, so i guess no rose bubble?? Though when i got back from the Frag Fest i noticed my clowns laid eggs on the front glass!! So... we'll see:)
  6. Updated Pics!! Just wish I had a better camera. -Anthony
  7. Not for a few months, but looking to buy something in the area I figured i would rather setup a new tank and have it running in a new place then transfer everything over vs. trying to move everything all at once like i did last time. Plus a really nice starphire display would be awesome!
  8. That's what i was thinking too, unfortunately. I really want a nice crystal clear corner bow when I move (i have a regular glass bow now) and really do not like acrylic; which is why i was looking into a starphire version. I'll have to due more research. Thanks for taking a look!!
  9. Hey everyone, Has anyone ever seen or heard of a 92 corner with Starphire for the bow? I'm not sure if this exists or is even possible to make a bow with Starphire glass. If so, could you give me a link or contact info of places that make them. Thanks! -Anthony
  10. They're not open on Sunday's though are they?
  11. Any places that are open on Sunday's??
  12. Hey Everyone, My CO2 for my CaRX is running low, so where can i get my tank refilled or traded for a new tank, near Tysons area? Also, is the CO2 for like keggerators/ beverages the same quality or is it something different? Let me know. thanks -Anthony
  13. Yeah, everything is doing great now! i did loose my huge Cali Tort colony and half of my Undata colony(which is still iffy). Other than that everything survived and is coloring up. Some of the colonies that i thought i completely lost actually have little areas that look good (and will hopefully recover the original skeleton). So, now i'm back on board and ready to do more! I'll take a pic tomorrow, if i remember lol.
  14. Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had tried retrofitting T5s anlong the edges of a 92gal corner tank? Right now i have a little 18in across the back and then a LG Lumenbright directly in the center. I do not have a hood either, the Lumenbright is on a hanging kit and the T5 lies accross the back nicely. I want to make something that is clean looking that blends in well. Any ideas? If so, lets try it and build it -Anthony
  15. I use the BRS 75gal/day, which also can be upgraded to the 150gal/day. I love it, plus they usually have a monthly deal on them where they throw in something extra. When i go got mine a few months ago, they threw in 5 extra sediment filters free! I got the TDS meter too and after about 7months my RO and DI still read 0ppm! Im pretty happy with them. -Anthony
  16. Mine just took a carpet swim yesterday while i was only gone for 1/2hr :( he wasnt even dried up yet. I would love another one too now. lol -Anthony
  17. 1. Gen X 2. 6.4-6.7 3. Yes, ACIII, turns on/off CO2 and pump to stop drip into tank for safety 4. fast drip/ breaking stream 5. maybe every month or so, between 9-12dKH
  18. Thanks. It really sucks, i'm just going to keep doing water changes and hope for the best.
  19. Here's some pics:( Let me know what i could do
  20. Also, if anyone would like to come over and see first hand to give an opinion that would be great. Thanks -Anthony
  21. Ok, so the die off has stopped i think, with the exception of my undata colony (which really really sucks). I have been doing 20gal water changes every day, also i have drilled my skimmer inlet outside which stills shows the pH running from 8.01 - 8.15, but i havent been able to chemically test it yet (i do believe that the probe went dry at one point during the move). I tested all other parameters and they are inline and great. Everything did go from awesome color to brown though, and then the few big guys that are now solid white skeletons :( I'll post some pics in a bit. -Anthony
  22. I do agree with you that it looks more like bleaching, but the halide is about 2ft off the tank now and again, they started looking bad the next morning (so no lights on over the night). I think i will drill the skimmer line back outside though. But have you seen bleaching where only the corallites are left? and if so, is it too late?
  23. Yeah, i resued the sand, man that was stupid on my part. i really didnt even think of that, though i did spihon all the detritus off after i put it back in the tank and before all the coral and rock was put back in. The sand was only in a bucket for about 1/2 hr at the most with water. Oh well more water changes.
  24. Tank temp runs from 80-82, and the pH is running on the ACIII so i can see it whenever. I guess its time to check ammonia and nitrate then, never had a problem with that before so we'll see.
