I have ordered two $80 boxes from amazon and both times have been really happy with my order. Like [mention]epleeds [/mention] said, your skimmer will go nuts for a while. Looks like the price went up a lot because it used to be $80 for a 40 pound box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ya I like the shimmer as well as it’s not too much. I am really liking these units and how crisp the light is. Sorry if my description sounds weird but it’s hard to explain. These definitely are brighter and full the tank with light more than the kessils did and there is definite difference in the overall appearance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To my eyes it has a little bit of shimmer but more on the flat side. Definitely not as flat as T5 only fixtures. I wish I could attach a video for you on here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought about ignoring this but I really don’t appreciate this comment. With all do respect I don’t think you or anyone else should be questioning where any of us choose to spend our hard earned money. I choose to support both local and online vendors as I see value in both and both employ people and provide their families with a means of living. Lol don’t worry I have those forgetful moments often these days. I got the 15’s to replace my kessil’s and they are going into my aquatic life t5 fixture. I was running 4 kessils but two of them pooped out on me. Comparing the one 15 pro I have with the kessils im going to have to say the pro is so much nicer and way brighter at the highest setting. I’m using the a360 WE’s. When I had them over the 65 I had them turned down and still aren’t running then at 100%. I have a AI prime on the frag portion of the tank in the stand and I like it as well but I like the kessils ability to blend all the LED colors really well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ya that’s crazy because I used all 40 lb in a 65 gallon tank and didn’t have the issues you had. I wonder if your rock accidentally got contaminated with something during delivery or when they had it stored in the warehouse. I guess this is a lesson for me to soak it for a few days to rinse it if I order the rock again. This sucks you had to deal with this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s crazy that it’s still going nuts mine definitely didn’t drive the skimmer crazy for this long. I didn’t have to raise the skimmer I just had to lower the water level in the skimmer to as low as I could. I kept it like that till it collected whatever was causing the excessive foam and the foam was back to the normal amount. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine did that so I lowered the skimmer internal water level till the extra foam subsided. I think the cause of this is the dry infused bacteria spores they claim are on the rock. I think it was the next day I was able to raise the water level in the skimmer to the normal level. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I ended up taking the plunge too and I have to see rocks look great and barely any breakage. Thankfully UPS was careful with the box IMG_2017.HEIC IMG_2016.HEIC
