I'll have to install a small inline check valve on the tubing somewhere.
Tank only has one return.

Primer is used in house construction and has no place in Aqua applications

The return line does need an anchor to attach to wall. The valve by itself is for future.
The check valve is a true-union type and easily comes off.
The issue I discovered is that the chiller/UV loop bypasses the check valve when the water is off.
The skimmer has its' own pump and is independent.

Drop size may change, but total amount dispensed is only slightly less- maybe an extra drop or 2 if you used the whole syringe.
It's not rocket science or medical procedures- it's coral, the weeds of the sea....

Use some heavy kitchen shears and trim around the stalk and make a large donut.
Cut into smaller sections and attach with thread and super glue. Usually makes two-headed frags...

I throw away the syringe tips on the Salifert kits and have been using them like that for years. I get reliable results that can be corroborated by professional water tests.

the old rule of thumb was to change filters when the TDS "out" is greater than 10% of TDS "in".

The tank that Forrest is talking about is done by Wet Pets, Origami is talking about a tank done by A Plus. Annapolis tank is either done by Malgren or Wet Pets.

The company I work for is hiring. They are searching for someone who has experience with fresh and saltwater.
This person needs to be punctual and reliable with their own transportation, a GPS, and a basic knowledge of the metro area.

Don't add any supplements until you test for the things you want to add.
I'd recommend that you first get a selection of good test kits. Salifert is simple, easy, and repeatable.
You should always have the following kits:
Calcium
Alkalinity
Magnesium
Phosphate
Nitrate
PH

If you want ease of operation and hands down repeatability, stick with Salifert test kits. No batteries, no little reagent pouches, no spots on glass cuvets messing up test readings.
I've been using them for 15 years now without issue.

You'll still need to do bi-weekly w/c.
I have found that mag pumps don't like to be externally plumbed and fail much quicker. When submerged, they last 5-10 years.

In-tank circulation is more important than flow through the sump. You could easily take 3 of those holes and use them for drains and have one as the return.
