  4. Very nice! I noticed you put ur skimmer up for sale...what r u thinking to buy now
  5. One of things that convince me to start a nano tank....Sexy shrimp
  6. Here is an article on the them. BTW some ppl like these so much they buy off the internet http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-06/rs/index.php
  7. I personally do not like them since they cover your sand bed with red strings. They are beneficial to have especially if you have a lot of debri on your sandbed, but then again that is what snails are for. So it is really up to you to decide, me I stuck them up very time I do a water change.
  8. Thanks it is starting to grow on me as well. I had to reaquascape because the anemone seem to like to position itself on the back of that rock. So I had to rotate it around causing all the other rocks to come tumbling down as well. It was one of those days where I tell myself at the end "I should have left it alone"
  9. This is what my clownfishes have been doing for the pass couple of days. I hope they dont end up eating each other.
  10. Yea too many for my liking as well. I've never had this problem with my 90 gallon so I am kinda shock. So far 1 picasso, 1 orange blenny, and 1 snowcasso I am thinking of buying an egg crate to cover the tank but I just think it would look soo ugly
  11. Camaron, have you experience any fish jumping out of you tank problem?
  12. Updates for April New Corals New Fish Onyx and Picasso Snowcasso Naked Clown - Stuwie
  13. Not at all I am still struggling with my camera. I think I might take a class this summer, maybe that would help a little.
  14. Here is the issue if anybody wants to have a quick laugh http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2008-12/tt/index.php #1 was my favorite I have one more to add to my list... 4) Last year we all experienced some major power outages. I had to run out to buy new batteries for my battery operated pump, so I talked my niece and nephew to use a straw to blown bubbles in the tank. I figured after couple of mintues they would grow bored and play with something else. 15mins later I came home from 7-11 to see both of them red faced and still blowing bubbles, just so to save nemo
  15. OoO I have to use this tactic one day if I ever need to setup a new tank....brilliant
  16. Ooh you guys had to see me....i didnt know rather I should laugh or kill Anybody else have funny stories????
  17. OMG i didn't know that was possible!
  18. I read an article on this and wanted to see if anybody else have amusing stories to tell.... I can start...oh there are soo many and it all revolves around my cousin Bo. 1) A little info about Bo...she is 100lbs of "girly girlness" but always up to helping me in all of my adventures. I needed help transfering my solana into my new house in Ashburn, naturally I called her first. Just picture 2 girls carrying in 150lb tank from the car....down the stairs into the basement. We struggled so much that we were so busy laughing we almost dropped the tank down the stairs You think that was bad you should have seen 4 girls carrying a 90 gallon! 2) Another one for you: I asked her to remove a nail from the canopy so that we can remove the middle bar to retro fit T5 in. Now I am not "handy" at all, so leaving this task to Bo was already a big mistake. But I figure removing one nail how hard can that be. Lets just say the whole canopy fall apart because apparently it was being held up by that one bar. "Was it suppose to do that" - quote from Bo 3)My all time fav: Removing water from my 55 gallon into a cooler to do the tank transfer into my 90 gallon. All she had to do was watch the other end of the siphon and tell me when the water was half full. 5mins of water pooring out of my tank I turn around to check the water level in the cooler. I noticed the water level has not moved pass a certain point. I step off the stool only to find 5 gallon of water all over my newly carpet cleaned living rm, because she forgot to plug the end of the cooler first.
  19. very nice, I like the new tank layout with the less rocks
  20. Camaron, How do take pictures with the T5 lights? All my pictures are coming out terrible and not showing the real colors of the colors. I've heard that T5 lighting tank are a pain to take picture of, didnt think it would be this bad with my SLR.
  21. Okie dokie, I'll have to send Sean my measurements then, to create a tree so I can hang the unit. Oy I was hoping to go the cheap route
  22. Hey Dave, No legs came with my unit, sorry. I'll try to post some pics later on tonight. Thanks, NIKI
