  8. When I got home from vacation I had ick on two of my tangs... I guess reduced feeding or something stressed them out... I had recently added a new fish from BRK... I fed garlic flake heavily for a week and the ick went away... I actually feed garlic flake everyday and all of my fish love it. http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/c1/c3/Garlic-Flake-c45.html This stuff is great. I think it constantly battles disease... kind of like giving your fish vitamins... Looks like htey have a new product that is garlic flake plus http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/c1/c4/Garlic-Plus-c25.html

  11. I feed mine garlic flake once a day with the tangs and they are doing fine...
  12. Could you please post how long you have had this coral and how large it was when you got it? How big is it now... 18"?
  13. ummm has this ever happened to an aquarist?
  14. I got both of mine and they were packaged in a factory box, wrapped in bubble wrap with peanuts in 100% condition. There were pieces of styrofoam on the ends and it seemed that if the box had anything put on it when it was on end that the bulbs would easily break... or if it was dropped on end. So I would say someone stacked yours on end or dropped the box on end... if yours were packaged like mine was. Sorry to hear about your bad experience.
  15. I had an angel in my 220, this is what I did: 1 fish traps - about three different types 2 fishing line with a hook 3 gig 4 drained tank (didn't work as he just hid behind the rocks with all the other fish) 5 got two 100 gallon rubbermaid containers from tractor supply, drained my entire tank, took out all water, rock and coral, and caught that &%*&$(*&^%. Oh and I had Kevin Garrison who took the rock out of the tank like they were feathers. It was a nightmare. If you have a reef and no other tanks I suggest staying away from angelfish... If you have a tank to move coral to that is being nipped then it may be worth the risk.
  16. shoot I hope mine make it ok...
  17. Looks good... how about some coral or fish pictures?
