The family and I just came back from a week long vacation in Curacao. It was my first diving trip. All I can say is "WOW!" What a fantastic place. I did a couple of boat dive and got really bad seasick. Took dramamine for the seasickness and found out that I'm allergic to it and got even more nauseated the following day. The rest of the time, I did shore diving. I did my night dives to complete my night diving certification. What a rush! I can see why Hilary loves night diving so much. I was hooked the first time I shut off my dive light and waved my hand and saw hundred of the tiny bio-luminescense sea critters lit up like the night stars. I have a few diving photos to share with you guys. I just need to figure out the best way to do it. James

the blue one from the pepsi plant holds 30 gal and the white one hold 50 gal. I have a white 50 gal that I'm no longer using. PM me if you want it. James

Does anyone know if T5 can be used in tank with height of 24" that contain a mix of sps and lps corals? Also, do you happen to know the average lifespan for them before they need to be replace if they run for 10-12 hours/day? James

I am out with the flu this week and Dave is also under the weather. Looks like we'll not be able to get the membership cards out until sometime next week.

Vinegar is cheap and the smell is not anywhere nearly as toxic as muriatic acid. Stick with the vinegar. I usually just eye ball how much vinegar I want to add to my water. I usually add a bit more vinegar and I let the equipment soak over night with a pump running to circulate the water.

I wait until the bulb has been off for several hours and cooled. Then I hold it with a towel and turn it a quarter of a way for it to pop out.

What happen was that I sent a reply back to you at the end of Aug asking for a confirmation of your address and for you to let me know if you would be at the meeting or not so that I could either give it to you personally or mail it to you. I did not hear a reply back from you until now. Now that I got your PM confirmation, I can update your information, your membership card will go in the mail tomorrow.
