  1. The Aquarium Co. (11411 F Sunset Hills Road Reston, Virginia 20190) quarentines all of there fish and have had all healthy specimens that i have seen so far when i go there, that would be my first choice to get any fish. -Connor
  2. i really like the video of you feeding the reef, theres so much going on. -Connor
  3. I had a question about lights currently the 2x 400 watt Halide light ballasts that i have are not in great condition and having been having some problems latley when they randomly turn off, so i decide to look at getting some different lights. Now ive been looking at the Aquactinics 48" TX5 Series but im not sure if that will give me enough light to have all of the sps and acans that i want to keep. So my question is will this be sufficient enough light to light up a all sps tank.
  4. Also since I have been planning on having a pretty large fish load I have decided to go bare bottom so that waste doesn't accumulate as much also this way there won't be any sand clouding the water because of all the waterflow. For flow I think I'm going to go with 3 koralia 3's. Will that be enough flow?? Thanks, Connor

  7. 92 gallon tank 20 gallon sump --------------- 112 gallons
  8. Regal Tang is supposed to be Regal Angle sorry typo. I have been trying to plan my tank mostly around the Regal Angle and have been reading about it like crazy because I know they can be hard to keep. My sump is a 20 long tank and my return pump is going to be a mag 9. I haven't made plans for a refugium yet but would like to get one if I can find enough room under my tank. I think I've seen hang on refugiums before and that might be a possibility with my size constraints. I haven't done much looking into flow within the tank but know i will need a lot since I'm planning for my tank to be all sps, I am more than open to any suggestions for flow since I dont have a lot of knowledge in that area yet. Thanks, Connor
  9. Sean has a great store and I'm going to be making many more trips over their. Fourtunatly its only an 8 minute drive from my house. Need Pics.
  10. So a couple months back i purchased this used 92 gallon bowfront tank reef ready. The dimensons are 48 wide, 14-18 front to back, and 28 deep. Its been a slow build but i am almost to the point of adding water. I have been going back and forth deciding how many fish i would like to add and it keeps changing as i pick different fish so right now i have a farely low stocking, coral wise im planning for the tank to be all sps. Equipment 92 bowfront stand and canopy V2 600 protein skimmer (rated for 150 gallons) Hydor 400 watt heater Rio 2100 skimmer pump 2 400 watt 20k Halides Stocklist: (could use some help with suggestions and order in which to add) Regal Tang (Red Sea)3-4 in. Blue Hippo Tang Midas Blenny Powder Brown Tang Pics Soon to come im having problems uploading them
  11. So far I've been their twice and have had good experiences both times. The service was great and Sean is always willing to stop and talk to you whenever you want to talk tanks or ask a question. There fish selection increased dramatically (as they broke in their quarintine systems) between the first and second time I went their and I've been very impressed with what they have brought in so far. I also talked to Sean and he said that they will be bringing in rarer fish over the next couple of weeks as they work out all the bugs they may find in their system. He also said that he is willing to special order any fish that they do not have in stock for you. So so far my experience is 2 thumbs up. Connor
  12. I went over to the new aquarium store in reston (AQUACO) and i saw some of these V2 skimmers. Apparently they are not widley distributed in the states yet and i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them or what they thought of them. Here is a link http://www.paraquatics.co.uk/en-gb/dept_194.html Thanks, Connor
  13. If you are willing to frag it how much would a piece of your Pink with Green polp milli cost? Connor
  14. Great tank, i bet your fish like all that open swimming room, also you've probably mentioned it at some point in the past threads but what are the dimensions of the tank. Connor
  15. The midas blennies are so cool i cant wait to get one for my 92.
  16. If I end up going to the meeting I'll deffinatly want a piece of the plating green monti DaveS. I also have 2 cinnamon clownfish that I can bring to the meeting. They are not a mated pair though one is substancialy larger than the other. They have never got along great together and the larger of the 2 beats up the smaller one. They are currently the only 2 fish in my tank but I think they would be a lot less aggressive if they were in a tank with some larger fish. I will sell them singled for 12$ a piece and together for 20$. Thanks Connor
  17. Awesome tank I'll deffinatly be tagging along for this one. Connor
  18. I was wondering how many saltwater aquarists out their no longer like to eat seafood. I've personally never been a big seafood lover and I use my aquarium as an excuse to get out of certain meals.
  19. how much does that bad boy weigh? Great looking stand and tank.
