  4. i got some reef kick ich late last night and turned my temperature up to 82 degrees. I used my first dose of kick ich last night but today their seemed to be even more white spots oin the clowns. I know it is supposed to be a multiple day cure but shouldn't it have decreased their white spots? Thanks, Connor
  5. thanks for all the replys and sorry about the accidental spelling. Im going to try to go over to the Marine Scene tommorow and try to pick up some better food. Ill also try using the garlic to dip the food in. Im not sure what a UV sterilizer is so ill have to do some more research on that. Thanks, Connor
  6. i looked down at my tank this afternoon and saw that my 2 cinnamon clownfish have what look like white spots on them. Ive never dealt with an outbreak of itch before what should i do? Thanks in advance Connor

  12. The thing is my basement isnt exactly huge so my mom gave me a designated spot for my aquariums and if it doesnt fit in that spot then i cant get it. My mom uses our basement for a gym and a family room so i cant take up any of her and my dads work out room. This tank would fit in my aquarium area and allow me to keep my 29 up and running. So this is a pretty good fit for, me I think. Connor
  13. wow i felll really stupid, its actually 36" long, 24" wide and 28" deep. i was thinking deep in terms of back to front instead of top to bottom. . I think this is what the seller actually meant in terms of size. Sorry Connor
  14. if i could put in a scopas tang, blue hippo tang, and powder blue tang then that would be ok and i could just make the rest smaller fish. i could also do the blue hippo tang or the powder blue tang. Its not the end of the world if i cant get both of them . Thanks Connor
  15. space is also a bit of an problem. My mom doesn't want a gigantic tank taking up a large portion of our basement. Connor
  16. i know that it might be a problem having a tank that deep but im not as worried about that. I'm more concerned about how it will affect my stocking ideas. Any ways its more of an excuss to my parents to work on my tank Connor
  17. not long enough. Im goin to have to do some more research on it because one of the main reasons i wanted to get a bigger tank is so i could get some tangs. It makes sence though cause most fish dont spend all of their time swimming up and down. Off to do some more research. Thanks, Connor
  18. i have a question about taller tanks. I was looking at a 105 gallon tank that has dimensions of 36h x 24w x28d 1/2. I was just wondering if this would limit the swimming room of fish such as tangs. Thanks, Connor
  19. nice looking tank, and keep the pics coming.
  20. welcome to the club youll learn ton's and will get that 20 dollars back before you know it. Connor
  21. i probably would if i could afford it. I did just see an ADD for a nice 90 gallon tank on craigslist so if i can convince my parents to let me step it up another 15 gallons i just might be getting it. I also still need to find out what the dimensions are so i can see if it will fit in my projected spot. Thanks Connor
  22. hello everyone, Im thinking of starting up a 75 gallon aquarium in addition to my 29 gallon aquarium and was looking for some set up suggestions. Id like to get some really strong lights so i can keep acropora, montipora, and clams. I currently have compact flourecent ligts and feel kind of limited as to what types of corals i can put in. I would also like some suggestions for types of filters/protein skimmers to use on the tank. Also if anyone knows of any 75 gallon tanks for sale at a reasonable price i would also be very interested. Thanks in advance, Connor
