never had a midas but I have a golden midas and I think the extra money is well spent on the "upgrade". Def the best looking fish in my tank and my favorite to watch.

My lease is up so the dreaded time has come for me to move my tank. I'm looking for one maybe two people that wouldn't mind helping me out. I'm going from Burke to Annandale with my 20 gal so it won't be too bad I just would rather have some help. I have a lot of corals that I could frag for beginners (mostly softies) so if you have a new tank this would be a good way to get it stocked and help me out at the same time. Also, if you have a van/truck that I can use that would be a bonus. Just shoot me a PM and thanks in advance! I'll buy breakfast!

I like the new aquascape 10x better and it sounds like your corals will be much happier being placed at the right points in your tank. Good to see when a lot of work pays off, are the fishes going in soon?

Are you planning on turning this into a reef tank later on? If just a FO I would say a 10 gal sump on a 55 is not going to do much for you... I have one on my 20 gal and wish I could have another 20 below but I can get away with it because I don't need a large skimmer. I would say unless you can do at least a 20 gallon I would go with hob filtration and run the canister.

It looks big cause all the corals are small lol I will try to take an updated shot soon... gonna be moving in two weeks so its all gonna get redone :/ I don't run a whole lot in my sump just skimmer, carbon, phosguard and some filter floss. I did add another mini frag rack same size as the other one cause I ran out of space, and I added the two clams. Probably going to end up selling one since both are the same color...

If that is only a few hours after acclimation I would say the person you swapped with pulled a fast one on you. From my experience (which is limited) it would take quite a lot of abuse for a coral to look like that. While drip acclimating isn't ideal for alot of corals it wouldn't make them look like that.
