would it b ok to just get the female today and get the male next week? would they get along

i just called roozens and they have a female but i want a male also

i would prefer to get it from johnny but roozens gets them on a fairly regular basis and like you said there is a waiting list for him. i will wait until i talk to him first as i like the care he gives his fish

i contacted roozens and brk about them and roozens said check back on wednesday and i am still waiting to hear from johnny

would it be good to get two females so that one will turn into a male? also does it make more since to order them from a good online dealer or have a store order them?

i will do a retest. my ph has been between 8.11 and 7.90 day to night. yea i thought it was weird to as my cal was 400 a few days ago and now it is 100 so i dont know whats up

it is somewhat difficult to find good info on this fish so i came here. i want a pair of the but my lfs tells me that it is better to have three of them for two reasons. first is one of them will become a male and that will offset the agressive courting of one male to one female between two females and one male. reason two is that it is the same price to get three females and it is difficult to get a male in the store. what do you guys think. im pretty sure i dont have sufficient space for 3 of these beautiful fish. what do u guys think or recommend?

i recently tested my alk and it is at 1.5dkh so my question is will this level effect or even kill fish? it has been this way for a few days as i test weekly and last week it was 9dkh. salifert test kit is used.

no additives as of late only time my hands are even in the tank is to feed the sun coral and chilli coral and to replace algae. hands are always being washed. i have the bubbles in one overflow chamber and i guess they just flow down to the sump. i just set it up yesterday but i tested it the day before and there were no bubbles so i dont know. ill keep you posted

i have thick annoying bubbles in my sump. it looks like shampoo. i didnt wash it with soap and i put the drains in filter socks but that doesnt break it up enough and its messing up my skimmer. what do i do

i washed the probe with tank water i will try and recalibrate it washing it with tank water. these numbers are what it stopped on

wamas food? i was talking to another member about maybe getting a food processor for the club and working out a deal with a store or something to get seafood for club members and mix it for general frozen foods and such.

yea i doubt that is right. i may have calibrated it wrong even though i followed the directions. according to the diections you cant take the probe out of the water once its calibrated or i could take it to the store and have them do it for me so i know how to do it. yea i am upgrading my system right with more live stock and equipment. in a few months i will be getting a larger uv sterilizer and adding a closed loop

i just got the aqua controller from neptune and i calibrated the ph probe before using it and it reads 8.6 for my ph. i really hope this isnt correct. i followed the calibration instructions but i dont know if its right or not

i plan to get abot 5 of these this week and i was wondering if anyone has heard of or preferrably seen these fish jump. are they prone to jumping like wrasses? and what do you guys feed your anthias and how often?

the orp may or may not be correct. what are the other parameters in the tank? also according to randy holmes-farley the probe can misread the orp in the tank especially if the probe hasnt recently been cleaned. when is the last time you did this?

well i had already talked to john and doug about visiting their tanks individually so now i can just come to see both and look at the link of the third tank but i have never spoken to the owner

i am adding a 100 gal sump to my 180 gal and was thinking of doing a deep sand bed with live rock in there and maybe doing some copepods in there. what do you guys think. i will have a mag 12 as a return pump and a ati bm200 and a heater. are there any issues with this setup in regards to the added denitrifying capacity or the additonal room for copepods? since its a rubbermaid container it will be difficult to section this area off so will that be a problem?
