pizzaguy October 22, 2020 October 22, 2020 I bought this a few years ago and don't remember what it was. Its as big as my hand 6 to 7 inches across. Multi color. Ive never seen anything like it and certainly never seen something this big. Its clearly like bounce etc meaning it doesn't reproduce on its own. So guess it has to be cut like the others. Been contemplating selling it as im not a mushroom keeper but honestly don't know its worth. Nor what it is. Any ideas Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
pizzaguy October 22, 2020 Author October 22, 2020 Pretty sure its a magic carpet mushroom but wanted some opinionsSent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
pizzaguy October 22, 2020 Author October 22, 2020 pretty sure its the cherry corals majic mushroom. Just doesnt have the fluorescent green likely from being in high light
davelin315 October 22, 2020 October 22, 2020 Looks like a hairy green metallic mushroom. I know that there are some strains today that go for a lot more than what I feel they are worth but I for one have never been able to tell the difference between them and have never been much of a named coral guy.
lynn.reef.nerd October 22, 2020 October 22, 2020 Do you have any pics under white light? Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
treesprite October 24, 2020 October 24, 2020 (edited) Is it these? If so, they are "Giant green hairy mushrooms". Base is green, tentacles are brownish color. They never seem to stop growing as long as they have the space to do it and the water isn't a nightmare. The ones I have are the descendants of one of my first corals, from however long ago I joined WAMAS. It was a freebie, from I think rsavedra or Raf. Edited October 24, 2020 by treesprite

lynn.reef.nerd October 25, 2020 October 25, 2020 Thanks@pizzaguy for this mushroom. No matter if it has a fancy name or not I just enjoy the color. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
