AlanM January 17, 2020 Author Share January 17, 2020 This meeting will be a bit different from most. In addition to our annual reports and the election, we will not have a speaker. Instead we will be doing a screening of the movie "Chasing Coral". Feel free to invite friends and family that you'd like to see the movie. https://www.chasingcoral.com/ We have had a bunch of the people featured in this movie as WAMAS speakers over the years and know others of them from MACNA. I'm trying to arrange for one of the producers to be here as well to answer questions. Since the movie is 90 minutes long and the speakers normally only talk for 75 minutes we may move the schedule around a bit, but will likely try to allow coral sales to keep going on during the movie if we can keep it kind of quiet so that the movie can be heard during the sales. I'll try to have it loud enough for everyone to easily hear it. We'll have some nice coral to give away as raffle prizes so the WAMAS members can go home and keep their own little piece of the reef alive. We'll also have coral to give away. I'm hearing from members who would like to sell. We have space for one more member to sell, so please let me know if you'd like to. We are also going to keep doing the free raffle tickets for sponsor purchases up to $500 since the last meeting. For every $25 you've spent at a sponsor since the last meeting you can bring that receipt and get a free raffle ticket at the door up to 20 tickets.
