Eastwick August 31, 2019 August 31, 2019 As title states I need help finding a solution to get rid of bristle worms from tank. I heard arrow crab will eat them. Any other suggestion?
overklok August 31, 2019 August 31, 2019 If you take a nylon bag full with shrimp or other meaty foods, and them put it in the tank at night, you should get a swarm of them attacking the bait bag.
madweazl September 1, 2019 September 1, 2019 Are the bristleworms harming the tank someway? Many people dont like to see them but I've NEVER seen one harm anything healthy in the tank.
BtmDweller September 1, 2019 September 1, 2019 Yeah they eat detritus and harm nothing. I’ve heard of monster huge ones getting stuck in a pump, but doesn’t seem like the norm. Most people leave them in.
John-Solo September 1, 2019 September 1, 2019 I agree. They are a great part of a clean up crew so unless they are causing some sort of problem I usually just leave them. Reducing the amount you feed the tank or start direct feeing corals/fish can help cut them back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bues0022 September 1, 2019 September 1, 2019 Ironic - here’s me over here wishing I had them in my tank. Ive seen many threads like this pop up, but you’re trying to get rid of a beneficial tank cleaner. The eunicid worms are the big nasties that you’d want to get rid of.
