  1. Last time I did that I was a teenager. Followed a rabbit down some hole, drank a potion, ate a bunch of oysters, found an annoying cat, got absolutely no help from a Caterpillar, and had some crazy lady try and cut off my head. [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I am a paramedic and set up a 14gal biocube at my station. A lot of people from WAMAS donated equipment/stock for the tank and we are very grateful! We Have a clown, Wheeler goby, pistol shrimp, RBT nem, and a few corals (softies). The tank has been running for a while now. I do 5 gal water changes about once a month and keep a sponge filter with a bag of carbon in the media area. I bring the water in from home. Everyone loves the tank but knows not to touch it without my explicit instructions. Iv been lucky Iv heard some horror story of some peoples office tank experience. My recommendation is to just keep it simple. Low bio load and hardy live stock that can tolerate permitter swings if you’re late on a WC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Funny, they have been in a small batch on a rock that I got when I first set up my tank 4 years ago. They never left that one area until about 6 months ago and BOOM, they started taking over. After the suggestion today I sucked as many of them up with the water change I did today. Broke the rocks up and took the one out I wanted them off of. Picked as many as I could off with tweezers then scrubbed the rock with a brush. After that I rinsed it off and scrubbed it again in fresh RODI water. We’ll see how well it works. 4. I was hoping to find a way without removing the rock, they are all glued together. Well, looks like I have some work ahead of me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I have a colony of mushrooms starting to run rampant in my tank. Anyone have suggestions on removing them from unwanted areas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah I do 5 gal water changes weekly, sometimes biweekly if Iv been busy. I’m just always looking for the best way to maintain good parameters. Iv had trouble keeping SPS corals in the past. I have a monti that is doing fine but lost any others Iv tried. Softies have had no issues.
  8. I tried to turn the middle chamber into a refugium but the chaeto kept breaking down. Have any thoughts? The media basket was top: sponge filter, middle: Chaeto, bottom: carbon. With an LED light on the back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Any pics or updates? I was following the thread a bit back, love the set up. haven’t seen anything new in a while. Don’t leave us hanging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi, I have a 29gal bio cube that has been running for about 4 years. I’m considering adding a protein skimmer. Anyone have good recommendations? I have a chamber available but Could be a hang on back I don’t care as long as it’s quite. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I was just at supreme reefs and they had a few of both. Also Quantum reefs usually has both of those in stock.

  14. I also like your initial set up. There’s an episode on YouTube from BRS about aquascaping that’s got some pretty helpful tips and suggestions. If you haven’t seen it yet check it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Origami is right. The tank is young and will go through a few stages within the first year or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
