madweazl November 13, 2018 November 13, 2018 Approximately $28 for a 200g box of Instant Ocean with UR20DEAL coupon code
bues0022 November 13, 2018 November 13, 2018 Looks like that coupon code is good for more than just IO. 20% off already on sale salt is a good deal though. UR20DEAL - 20% Off Regular, Sale & Clearance
madweazl November 13, 2018 Author November 13, 2018 (edited) Yea, I should have pointed that out. The salt is on sale for $32 and then you can take 20% off that (along with free shipping). Edited November 13, 2018 by madweazl

madweazl November 13, 2018 Author November 13, 2018 Dang, that was quick. I paid $27.79 a couple hours ago (should have ordered two).
D805 November 13, 2018 November 13, 2018 I wish I could of got on that deal. Picked up some Reef Crystals instead.
bues0022 November 13, 2018 November 13, 2018 A "sale" that fast makes me wonder if there was a glitch in the matrix.

madweazl November 17, 2018 Author November 17, 2018 $100 for salt? After 25 years of reef keeping, I've never found one salt that did anything better than the next. As for the IO on sale, it arrived today

As for the IO on sale, it arrived today I think it's just a matter of preference. I used IO/RC before and their levels never seem to be the same between buckets and it made testing/consistency a nightmare. So far the Tropic Marin Pro has been great for me. I use less salt per gallon. Less residue in the water bucket (less cleaning) and it dissolve clear so much faster. Maybe I'm bias . The sale though... makes it almost the same as RC so I can't resist.
