Flipmark03 May 2, 2017 May 2, 2017 40g breeder with Chinese LEDS. Tank was moved 1 month ago so will not be as stable as most of the tanks the other frags are going in. Also trying new things with this tank such as feeding corals and other additives I've never used before. The LED's are new as I used to run an ATI T5 fixture and still tempted to go back to it. 40 breeder tank LED lights Reef octopus skimmer Chaeto in sump refugium Carbon GFO 10-25% Water changes every 1-2 weeks

smohr123 May 20, 2017 May 20, 2017 Same picture, attempt at making true colors. Still going seemingly strong, despite some challenges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
WCorbin82 May 21, 2017 May 21, 2017 Still settling in. Haven't tried feedings because water quality was bad. Getting back on regular maintenance schedule. I think I see a numb (baby) poking through Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PupChow May 21, 2017 May 21, 2017 Here is my guy, my strategy is to simply not move or touch the frag at all from day 1... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nart May 21, 2017 May 21, 2017 Here is mine. It's not coloring up like it did the first week nor is it too happy, but it grew a second polyp in a matter of two weeks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BowieReefer84 May 22, 2017 May 22, 2017 You all should have picked a more colorful polyp. Does it look better in person?

sethsolomon May 22, 2017 May 22, 2017 (edited) You all should have picked a more colorful polyp. Does it look better in person? Much better in person. It's hard to get a good picture of them. Here is the best pic I could get of it. Pic is under 20k radiums, UVL aqua sun and 454 t12VHO's, and reefbrite XHO's. Edited May 22, 2017 by sethsolomon
PupChow May 23, 2017 May 23, 2017 Quick update, I was feeling left out when most people seems to be having a second polyp coming in... during feeding today I noticed a baby polyp! I'm joining the 2 polyps club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mari.harutunian May 24, 2017 Author May 24, 2017 Algae bloom and phone pic so not the best picture... But here's my polyp! Don't see a second one yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nart June 19, 2017 June 19, 2017 (edited) Here is my update. All my zoas are doing really well now. Especially so since I've been dumping in all sorts of food into the tank. Flakes, reef roids, pellets, mysis, and baby brine. I've been dosing phytoplankton and Coral Accel too.Seeing a little hair algae... but, whatever it takes! sethsolomon June 20, 2017 June 20, 2017 Looking good so far. BTW in case someone has their frag melt please PM me and I will get you a replacement.
