  4. Wow so I have a serious list but right now on my current tank is adding my equipment that's sitting in the boxes. So Apex, UV, Smart RODI with Booster Pump, Carbon Reactor, Return Manifold, cleaning up the cables and cords, more corals lol. I really want to move into a town house or something basement so I can get my upgrade maybe 10 year tank 72" Long x 48" wide x 24" high peninsula style euro brace with ghost overflows [emoji30] made by Reef Savy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hey guys I will take a picture once I get home but I wanna wait until this weekend because I brought this filter for phones and seeing some of the before and after shoots it really helps with the Blue LED. I found it on eBay http://m.ebay.com/itm/332191081090?_mwBanner=1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Thank you for that information Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I was in Home Depot today and noticed this 250 w MH bulb by Phillips and I was wondering if this would work in my MH fixture which is 250 watt ballast. Also does Lumens and Kelvin mean the same thing I see on this it says 21K Lumens. I currently have a 20K radium bulb on my (lights not installed yet over the tank). Does this mean it's a deeper blue color in the bulb? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm in the same boat as you. I have a 105 4ft tank and I thought about getting the new gyre but with Eco Tech options and no cords in the tank lead me to team vortechs. Now I plan on getting 2 MP40 QD. Mainly because when I think about buying equipment I alway factor in can and will I take this on my next tank upgrade, also because I don't wanna to run these pumps at full power or not even 50% if I can help it. I think this power consumption will further expand the life of the pump. And last with a power outage the battery back up will not effect my tank and my livestock. Just a quality product. I also have just purchase the Vectra M1 so all the pumps will be able to communicate wirelessly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ok great I'm gonna do a little more research before I make the decision. I'm leaning towards it I'm about 75% yes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Do you have success with Zoas in particular and will the clean (stripped) water effect them also. I'm going for a Zoa Dominated tank now. And in your opinion with the current filtering I have now is this overkill? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I was looking at BRS sale and saw the zeovit system starter pack available (Reactor, media, additives). My question or concern is will this be overkill for filtration for my type of system. From my understanding High Nitrates doesn't mean High Nutriates. I also understand that LPS and softies like Nutritional value in the water column for color and growth. Does Zeovit Eliminate this factor because I see most zeovit systems geared towards SPS System DSA 105 Rimless 4Ft Tank (48x24x21) Live Rock: 80-100 pounds Live Sand: 50 pounds Fish stock: High Bio load (IMO) Blue Hippo Tang Flame Angel Frostbite Clowns pair (2) Diamond Spot goby Peppermint Hog fish Yellow Coris Wrasse Flame Hawk Purple Dotty Back Solaris Wrasse Black Spot Leopard Wrasse Red Star Leopard Wrasse Ornate Wrasse Current Bio, Mechanical, Chemical Filters are SWC 160 Protein Skimmer , Algae Scrubber running 24/7, (3) Filter Socks, Marine Pure Ceramic Bio Balls (4) Boxes, 2 bags of Chemi pure blue. 17. Please expose the names because we all have sells or buy from each other and even worst let these people into our homes and private spaces. I don't want to be associated with somebody that steals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Welcome to WAMAS great club Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Well you can sure have mine let's swap saltwater smh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Listen dwarf Angel fish are the biggest assholes in the hobby lol. I swear my Flame back Angel has caused so much terroir in my tank and I have a 105 gallon 4ft tank. In my opinion to keep the peace they need 6ft tanks. I actually saw one fellow reefer keep 2 in a 125 with no fighting. I think cause of the length they have that more space Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks for that insight. Not really into the sticks so I'm mostly LPS and soft corals. I figured the cost of buying dosing supplements vs paying more for salt that already have those levels balance out. I have a doser but haven't used it yet by Jeabo. I like to keep things simple so I can enjoy the hobby more so WWC (Weekly Water Changes) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Ok thank you I just wanted to see if anybody has had any negative experiences in switch salt. I actually think I'm gonna do Instant Ocean since it's more budget friendly but I do like that some salts have levels where dosing the tank isn't needed. So my goal is not to dose or not as much and to keep parameters good. If I'm gonna dose it's gonna be trace elements or coral food Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Good morning I have a question or just a concern about what effects if any on the negative side will my reef have when I plan on switching salts and doing weekly water changes (small amounts every other day Monday, Wednesday, Friday). I currently do water changes with Aqua Forest Reef pro salt mix. I don't have any problems with this salt except the price. Just because I believe in weekly water changes in small amounts to better keep water quality. So my plans are to do small water changes 3 out of 7 days of the week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Saturday and Sunday no maintenance to the reef. My current tank water volume is 105 main display (Deep Sea Aquatics) and sump water volume maybe 30 gallons (Triggers Emerald 39). My plan is to do 24 gallon per week which is 8 gallon each Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I have mixing containers coming in from amazon that holds 26 gallons. So on The Saturday I will mix up my saltwater and let it mix for 48 hours or so then proceed with my water change that Monday. Which I plan to make it so where all I'm doing is turning valves and pumps on. So pictured below is the salt I would like to switch to. After reading the reviews I'm leaning towards these 2 salt mix. What's your thoughts if you have any. Thanks for your input Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It's never enough (spoken from a coral addict). My thoughts are if the livestock you have such as fish are not crowded and swimming space than go for it. Of course you wanna give them room to grow but as long as they not fighting each other (stinging) I see no problem. I love the look of a stocked tank with little to no rock showing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
