Are you putting the water container on top of that structure? It looks like the plywood will sag. You might consider adding some horizontal supports on top of your posts.

Yes I am putting on top , so it's above the floor level.

It's one of those layered plywood sheets on top

If you're concerned about it sagging -- and with that much weight it may unless the container is wide enough so that its rim is right above the legs versus supported solely by the plywood top, you could also just use a good wood glue to add another layer of plywood on top so it's double-thick.

What do you have in the refugium there. Looks like a coral.

Good eye , its bam bam zoas that I need to remove from the barnacle

My angel is nipping either the zoas or the algae around them so they were unhappy .. moved them there till I can frag off the zoas and move barnacle up for fish to sleep/hide in

Tank is going to be primarily SPS and maybe some LPS ..

I like these Elos tanks. Looks good.

Love all that open space. It makes me want to tear mine down and redo it.

It is fun watching them doing laps ;)

Moved most of my coral (sps only) over , tried to shrink down as much as i could

Tank is young so will see how they do, I am starting to see coralline algae get on the rocks ...

Few sps have been here now a week plus , the colonies only a day

I am see PE so that should be a good sign

Yeah right! Grass is always greener on the other side. Alternatively, you should just setup another tank!

As long as your consistent, you should be fine. Crazy you're seeing coraline already. I bet this is relaxing. Do you find yourself spending more time on the couch?

Looks great. I love the goldflake!

thanks Tony !

But it's partly cause I don't trust my 2 yr old around it ;)
