eddiev0008 September 13, 2015 September 13, 2015 Hello just wanted to know your opinion. I just picked up a really cool large Maroon clown he's about 3 in long I have a 70 reef with two smaller true percs, if I throw in the maroon will there be battle? The maroon looks like a laid back fish, I know there known to be aggressive but I really want to place him in the 70 . I do have a 29 biocube I can place him but would love him in the 70 any suggestions would be great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

treesprite September 13, 2015 September 13, 2015 I would not put a maroon in the 29. Put the percs in the 29, then get a mate for the maroon in the 70.
Keraxis September 13, 2015 September 13, 2015 maroons tend to be big A holes. People are saying the lighting maroons are on the more docile side for maroons though.
Sharkey18 September 13, 2015 September 13, 2015 +1 on putting the percs in the 29 and the maroon in the 70. She's already too big for the 29
gmerek2 September 13, 2015 September 13, 2015 Is there a nem in the 29? My maroon had 125g but rarely ventured out from the nem so I wouldn't think it would care as long as it has a nem to love on

BowieReefer84 September 13, 2015 September 13, 2015 I've seen large maroons draw blood on people like it was nothing. If it decided it didn't like the smaller clowns they are done.
smallreef September 14, 2015 September 14, 2015 Lol.. My maroon used to bite through vinyl cleaning gloves and draw blood, though she was almost full grown at 5ish inches long...
