gmerek2 August 19, 2015 August 19, 2015 (edited) Research STN. There are a ton of factors. I think alkalinity stability is the most important. It also helps if it is encrusting and healed when putting SPS in tank Edited August 19, 2015 by gmerek2
Jhead85 August 20, 2015 Author August 20, 2015 It's the only sps that does this in my tank the few others are a ok
Origami August 20, 2015 August 20, 2015 tiny frags usually have a poor survival rate+1. Fresh cut frags like this are vulnerable. You may want to frag it again to isolate just the good tissue and hope for the best with an even tinier piece. I've had some luck with iodine dips for corals in this condition, but it can be hit or miss. Also check your alk levels to make sure they're acceptable. Sent from my LG-V510 using Tapatalk
