I didn't log in on purpose. I learned my lesson during WWC's last live sale. Money goes quick!

Depends on what you are seeking and vendor.  Similar to any large conference, live stock and hardware may be discounted on the last day of MACNA.  The best strategy is to prioritize your wish list and purchase items you absolutely must have on day one and the remaining on day two.  If you wait until day two to purchase the must have items, it may not be available.  Need a good game plan.  If this is your first MACNA, enjoy the experience, set a budget, and stick to it.

Will you be able to find a RR Orange Passion for $100, highly doubt it.

This is good advice.  Another thing to consider is that MACNA entail quite the expense for these vendors- booth costs, travel costs, etc.  Many vendor do, rightfully so, factor these additional costs in when they price their livestock at the show.

You are unlikely to get killer deals on frags at MACNA like you do at WAMAS.  What you will get at MACNA is an incredible selection of livestock as the biggest and best vendors in the country are coming to show off what they have.  If there is some rare coral you are looking for, you can probably get it on the first day.  Just expect it to be priced accordingly.

I like their frags. They do really well for me. I had issues with the tank, and all rr frags pulled through. I got a few signature pieces during last sale - all alive and well, growing nicely. Never has been dissapointed with non-signature pieces either. I should take a pic of Minions, going on for its' second year in the tank, it is orange, maybe the only orange colored stick I have seen :)

I have an order coming from the Tues but its just for some Z/P's and an Acan. I def want to buy some of those sticks though.

While on the MACNA topic what does everyone do with the coral they purchase at the show? Obviously being this close going home would be possible but what about shows out of state? I know when I was into freshwater and went to conventions I would just setup a small tank in my hotel room for anything I bought. Last day i would bag it up and head out. Do people do something similar for coral?

Either ship it, or fly with it. A lot of folks flew back with checked coolers. There was also a fed ex in the hotel right by the convention center in Denver last year.

Most vendors will hold till the end of the show, just take your money at the beginning. You won't forget if you've paid already :)
