smallreef December 31, 2014 December 31, 2014 Sound great! Lots of good equipment, and with Rob helping with plumbing that should be all good! (I agree, we need pics!)
cliftonsong March 19, 2015 Author March 19, 2015 Finally got a bit less lazy and have some pics.. my photography skills are not good and I am using a samsung note 3. First Sump Pic: not much has changed. Then this is what it looked like at the beginning. Way too much rock. This is how it was last week before the new chocolate lab pup chewed up a bracket holding the light supports. Currently running 1 photon 48 (luckily other one works still) today need to make a trip to home depot. On the bright side I picked up the ERC deresa clam from the auction and also had to pick up a nice looking wellso.
Cliff Puckstable March 19, 2015 March 19, 2015 Did you use both holes in the overflow as drains? I like the rock work you had in the beginning.
cliftonsong March 19, 2015 Author March 19, 2015 no the piping in the center is just an additional return. Yes I liked the rock work too but underestimated the size of the 200dd and i had quite a few rock slides, fortunately no casualties.
YHSublime March 19, 2015 March 19, 2015 Marco mortar, or zip ties! You can create just about anything! Tank looks good, I'm with the Puckstable on the 1st rock formation.
