  6. no the piping in the center is just an additional return. Yes I liked the rock work too but underestimated the size of the 200dd and i had quite a few rock slides, fortunately no casualties.
  7. Finally got a bit less lazy and have some pics.. my photography skills are not good and I am using a samsung note 3. First Sump Pic: not much has changed. Then this is what it looked like at the beginning. Way too much rock. This is how it was last week before the new chocolate lab pup chewed up a bracket holding the light supports. Currently running 1 photon 48 (luckily other one works still) today need to make a trip to home depot. On the bright side I picked up the ERC deresa clam from the auction and also had to pick up a nice looking wellso.

  9. LOL its about 3-3.5 inches but the water is so cloudy that there could be a sand mountain in the middle hidden from sight
  10. I just made this decision this past monday on my 200dd. added 220 pounds of pink fiji sand.. still waiting for it to clear up. Looking forward to your build
  11. The forum has done so much for me since I have joined I love to help out where I can.
  12. Don't worry left the grafted and master scoly behind for you lol. But, yea got a great zoa reef rock. Will try to get pics up somewhere, I feel selfish not posting pics of it... no comment on your tire you should check with pizzaguy haha jk
  13. Saw everything in person. Pics don't do justice. That Grafted Scoly tho..I hope Issac doesn't take it haha
  14. I won a large blue maxima clam today at the meeting. Just wanted to reach out and thank you guys for the donation to the raffle, as well as the other clams and fish you guys brought up to the meeting. Everything is doing great and couldn't be more happy. Hope to make a trip down to your facility soon.
  15. Oddly, samething happened to one of my clams this weekend. Strange thing is that I have two identical size clams 3inches from same great vendor, same tank. One just started to recede and by the next morning had to be pulled out. The other one is still doing great. Luckily I have no sense of smell.
  16. Rainbow is doing great. Man that was a quick tear down
  17. I'm in tysons corner. I have moved way too fast in the hobby in the past year. Putting together my 3rd connected tank set up at the moment (Hopefully the final one for a while). Thinking about shutting down my 2nd 4 tanks to one sump system. Also have a biocube 14 with a seahorse, which I will soon shutdown to upgrade. Welcome to come check it out.
  18. Heres a size comparison between the two. is the 25 too much flow for the 14 bio? I think its too much flow for my 30 cube haha http://www.fish-street.com/images/products/editor/wp10_wp25.jpg
