I stopped by Johnnys place to pick up my reef plugs today and I can vouch for the new arrivals. It is definately a top notch order he has gotten in. Especially that Achilles tang, he is a sweet looking fish.

John,

Do you know if these mangroves were rooted and then subsequent leaf sprouted in salt water?

If not, (rooted in fresh water which is much faster) they need to be transistioned to saltwater or they tend to become sunkin, yellow and then rot.

The only pest I've found to be an issue to mangroves is "scale" which often shows up as either the traditional brown bumps or with mangroves, often white bumps.

I've seen mealy bug (white cotton looking) on established foliage, generally after it gets it's second or third pair of leaves.

I dont have that information, they came from one of my regular distributors. I would hope they used proper handling.

Is your blue spotted jawfish still checking out the people in your store? :)

I still think it would look just right in an 30g Oceanic cube....and of course a Deltec skimmer.

Why that would be a skimmer with free ($20.00) jawfish.

Store pet.
