reeferindc March 1, 2014 Share March 1, 2014 (edited) I could be wrong maybe someone else will chime in to help but it Looks like a gorilla crab, he can become a problem. Eating your snails, hermits and eventually anything he can catch. You might wanna catch him and take him out Edited March 1, 2014 by reeferindc
Origami March 1, 2014 Share March 1, 2014 Definitely looks like a Xanthid (gorilla) crab. Black-tipped, masive flesh-ripping claws. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk

gmerek2 March 1, 2014 Share March 1, 2014 Place a beer glass with shrimp in bottom. The crab will go in glass to eat shrimp but can't get out from the slick glass. I think incredible corals did that thread.

londonloco March 1, 2014 Share March 1, 2014 Awww noooooo. I had one for years in my 120g, hitchhiked on the life rock in the tank. Tried to catch him, kinda half heartedly, but ended up letting him live in the tank. HIs molts were neat looking at first, started getting "scary" as he grew. Not sure what happened to him, but he was not in the tank when I broke it down.
