Orion January 21, 2014 January 21, 2014 Picture I just noticed this today, and haven't seen it before. Fish is eating fine, and swimming ok. Is this fin rot, or some type of other disease? Also thinking it could have gotten into it with another fish. Water parameters are all fine. Running GAC through a BRS reactor, and using kalkwasser to maintain calcium/alk.
Coral Hind January 21, 2014 January 21, 2014 Fin rot normally starts on the ends. It looks like it got caught on something or it was aggression from a tankmate. It should heal up within a week.

A little off topic here but for some reason when I see this thread on my phone through Tapatalk, it puts random pictures up. I was originally very intrigued why you were asking about an issue with your angel but were posting pics of the Pope and other places.

There is some aggression occasionally brought on by the Angel, but it's quickly diffused. Unfortunately I have an ich outbreak going on, and will be moving all fish to QT tomorrow. Tank will be going fallow for 6-8 weeks.
