pull the trigger or pass it on, 500 gallon atm tank

Overflow on left. Two sides viewable. That is correct

I like the idea of Adam cutting it in half for me. How about a quote on that Adam. Please. 4ft tall would be a real pain for a reef but not nearly as bad for a fowlr.

I'll forward him the thread.  Need at least 4-5 strong people to get the job done because of all the flips that will be required for all the runs on the routing table.

Although fake, the corals are worth a lot. If you are going to scrap them, call Bell Isle Aquarium in Michigan, they need new decor and we are salvaging for them as we break down.

Also, Throw CoralHind a Nice one or 2... he has FOWLR. I'm sure He'd accept a Nice lookin' fake Coral or 2. lol
If you decide to Strip it....
 Nice tank tho'.

Go for it! Too much tank for me to enjoy :( is this the free tank joshifer passed up with his moving uncle??!!

No its not free. This guy bought it new years ago. It's been sitting for 3 years.

You've got a great tank already man, I say pass, imagine the cost of salt alone....

i say pass for use as your personal tank, as well. the acrylic on a tank of those dimensions with limited depth is going to put scratches in and will be annoying as ever. let someone else deal with it being acrylic on a large tank like that. and slicing in half and trying to make it what you want working with non-virgin material is never easy or cheap and frequently leads to problems down the road - i know.

it might make sense as an investment to flip the insert and tank if you have the space to store it until you do. g'luck whatever you decide to do!
