nova423 November 19, 2013 November 19, 2013 At least my Duncans do. I fed my them some turkey from whole foods today (carved from a bird not lunch meat, very fresh no preservatives) and they loved it! Usually I feed cyclopeeze mixed with sustainable aquatics pellets 3xs a week. All in the spirit of Thanksgiving!
Incredible Corals November 19, 2013 November 19, 2013 Lol. Good find. My kids used to toss Cheerios in the tank but nothing would it eat. Also nothing eats mr. potato head, tv remotes, hot wheels or Legos.... weird...

Arkonen November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 Lol. Good find. My kids used to toss Cheerios in the tank but nothing would it eat. Also nothing eats mr. potato head, tv remotes, hot wheels or Legos.... weird... My nephews do this every time they come over to visit... they like watching the bubbles come out of the toys as they sink... I think Hulk and Batman have gone deep sea diving in my tank a few times now. Needless to say they are only allowed to watch the tank when sitting on a chair in front of it and not up close while playing haha.
AlanM November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 So far i have gotten plastic balls and paper airplanes. Plastic balls were a hit because the return made them spin in place on the surface.
sen5241b November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 I put some cooked, chopped clam meat in my tank once and nothing would touch it.
s2nhle November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 I feed my fish fresh uncooked pork and chicken meat before and my fish love them.
FishyPapa November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 Lol. Good find. My kids used to toss Cheerios in the tank but nothing would it eat. Also nothing eats mr. potato head, tv remotes, hot wheels or Legos.... weird... They don't eat Optimus Prime or Megatron from Transformers either. Haha
FishyPapa November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 Mine wanted to keep about floating in the top. Hmm could be fun.
nova423 November 21, 2013 Author November 21, 2013 They don't eat Optimus Prime or Megatron from Transformers either. Haha Darn picky eaters. They would love sideswipe I'm sure lol.
nova423 November 22, 2013 Author November 22, 2013 My sexy shrimp got on board with the turkey meal too!
SunWyrm November 22, 2013 November 22, 2013 I read once that snowflake eels could eat small amounts of cooked turkey, so 2 years ago for thanksgiving I thought I'd give my big eel a little bite of the bird. She's never gone after fish - before or since, but I gave her a bitesize piece of turkey and she went INSANE: chasing everything and mouthing several fish, looking for more. Never seen an eel go THAT crazy (some of you have probably seen their hungry "dance" where they go all over the place - this was 5x worse).I will never feed anything turkey ever again.
