No really. I put the lights out early tonight. Now I have thin but really long white things coming out of the rocks one was about 3 inches long. As soon as I turn the light on they slurp back In the rock. Light off instantly come out and wave. This is the best pic I could get with the light off. It's in the center of the pic. It's not spiked its just smooth long white hair looking. It's actually longer then in the pic it was retracting while I shot it

Is this some kinda sweeper tentacles I've been hearing about that kills coral?

I googled. Not getting any answers because I can't find the words to type the description.

It looks like the arm of a brittle starfish. They are very good to have and a sign that your water is healthy. If you have ammonia or nitrite issue they would be one of the first things to go. They come in lots of different sizes and colors.

No I saw those walking around all the time I'm infested with those. Their arms are spikey. These are several dramatically long white thin smooth tubes coming out of a hole the size of a pinhole. The only thing I found on that guide similar was spighetti worm. But wasn't yellow.

My spaghetti worms are white. I love those little guys. They clean up food that falls to the sand like no other.

Oh then they are those. Thanks. I got scared I thought it was a sweeper trying to kill everything. If they clean. I ain't got no problems with them. Lol

How many "hairs" came out of each hole? If just two then it is probably Spionid Worm and not a spaghetti which would have several.

one hole had about 5 over dramatically long tentacles like 5 or 6 inches, another on a seperate rock 2 or 3 arms bout 3 4 inches

im starting to think any day now im gonna find my dead grandmother in one of those rocks

mushrooms, majano, aptasia, spighetti whatevers. christmas tree feather dusters. clustered dusters, hermits, snails. a dog a cat a cow a chicken

Dogcatcowchicken...yep you've watched wayyyy to many cartoons with the kids! Lol

Hope everything acclimated well....

I can't find the goby. Either he's hiding or dead lol. Kenya trees are open. I bunched them all together made a little forest in the sand away from rocks cus they spread. Thanks ^_^

Huh, mine only ever have two. TIL...

Edit: Quick research brought me this article. Ctrl F to Phyllochaetopterus and that's what I have. Now I'm pretty concerned about the whole, "cementing the sand bed together" thing. Wondering if I should get a more aggressive sand sifter.  I think this could potentially be why my cucumber has not been looking her best. 8x3' footprint of sand to herself and she's not as fat as she was.

Sorry to hijack.
