hawkfish01 July 19, 2013 Author Share July 19, 2013 Update:after cleaning what rockwork i could and adding phosban, adding a couple more astrea and a turbo snail, I think we are getting a handle on this issue.Ive also did a dyi refugium out of a not in use hob filter and chaeto algae w/live rock rubble at bottom..attached a light from a fluval spec..No new algae seems to be appearing on rocks(happy dance) and none of the other tanks show any algae probs..this tank also on strict photoperiod... TheyCallMeMr.703 July 19, 2013 Share July 19, 2013 (edited) Check it out. I.d recomend of a ball of cheato to help curb their intake, it.ll eat the same nutrients from the water. And is much easier to manage and keep in check Edited July 19, 2013 by TheyCallMeMr.
