Coral Hind May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Pretty cool but actually slower growth than what I was expecting for 18 months.
Chad May 17, 2013 Author Share May 17, 2013 ^that was my takeaway on it too... I think that things like varying light, temperature, minor predation, pests and usually slightly lower calcium and alkalinity levels in the wild can lead to slower growth than we sometimes see when we hit on that magical combination in our closed environment tanks. wade May 19, 2013 Share May 19, 2013 I like that a patch of hair algae shows up... gets huge... then bleaches and vanishes. Of course, you can see how much debris there is in the water at certain times too - which our tanks (hopefully) don't get. I am guessing from rain events. Very interesting video.
