monkiboy February 8, 2013 February 8, 2013 does anyone know a reputable steelworker or a welder? i'm looking for someone to build me a stand for my 210g build. i could provide material if required but i want a quality job done and if possible at an affordable rate... thanks for any help or referrals you can provide!
AlanM February 8, 2013 February 8, 2013 I'd been doing searches on the same subject recently both here and on CMAS forums and a few folks recommended these guys, which are right up the road from you (and me). http://www.rockvillesteelco.com/index.html

monkiboy February 8, 2013 Author February 8, 2013 thanks for the information, folks. i've heard back from tony already with a quote and will check out the place alan suggested as well for comparison. i've actually used the latter before for my entrance gate and they were great and affordable.
AlanM February 8, 2013 February 8, 2013 Right. Tony is the guy from CMAS, right? I've read good stuff about his stands. Tempted to do that instead of a 3/4" plywood box for mine too.

dave w February 10, 2013 February 10, 2013 I have a friend who also has been a welder for 10 years. He works by the day and I'd hope he would be cheaper than a company. I'll PM you his phone number, I think he lives in DC now.
