does anyone know a reputable steelworker or a welder? i'm looking for someone to build me a stand for my 210g build. i could provide material if required but i want a quality job done and if possible at an affordable rate...

thanks for any help or referrals you can provide!

Yauger found someone who did a good job, not sure how far from MD...but his stand is nice

thanks for the information, folks. i've heard back from tony already with a quote and will check out the place alan suggested as well for comparison. i've actually used the latter before for my entrance gate and they were great and affordable.

Right. Tony is the guy from CMAS, right? I've read good stuff about his stands. Tempted to do that instead of a 3/4" plywood box for mine too.

Yes, Tony is from CMAS. His screename on CMAS is Tony, he lives on the lower side of Baltimore in Halethorpe, MD

I have a friend who also has been a welder for 10 years. He works by the day and I'd hope he would be cheaper than a company. I'll PM you his phone number, I think he lives in DC now.
