Beware of the cleaners...

We have a crew that cleans our house every other week. This week they apparently decided to put the new person in our house. Wouldn't you know it, I came down to find her spraying cleaning solution on the eurobracing of my tank.......and of course, some going into the water. I've already got a massive RTN on 2 of my colonies and the others are looking pretty bleak. I'm just cringing waiting to see how bad it gets.

 

The surprising thing is, my fish don't seem to be showing any stress.

Skimmer isn't producing any foam at all right now. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yep - got it going. Started it last night. I'm just waiting to see how bad this actually gets. I have no idea just how much she sprayed in the tank.

I would like to know how anyone can be senseless enough to spray something into a container of any kind of fluid, let alone an aquarium.

Sorry man, this is the second thread this week that this has happened, the other was on RC, killed all the guy's fish.

 

You would think cleaning company's would be responsible enough to train there employees.

I'm sure the cleaners think that it's just another thing that needed cleaning. They are just doing the job.

I had actually told them many, many times not to touch the tank. Unfortunately this girl is new and apparently didn't get the message. The worst part was that when I tried to ask her how much she sprayed, all I got was "no speaky". My skimmer is skimming again and I've been running carbon so I'm just going to have to wait and see.

man they have apps that translate english into spanish or several other languages.

 

Very soory to hear about this...i dont know if id be able to keep it together if it happened to me...thats freaking just terrible.
